Frequently Asked Questions

Feel free to browse these Q&A with the most most common questions I get asked about my wedding photography services and contact me anytime for any further info.

How do we get in touch?

The best way is through the contact form: I do my best to reply in the shortest time.

Where are you based?

I’m based in a tiny country medieval town in northern Italy, between Milan and Switzerland, from where it’s easy to reach the Lakes Area and the beautiful Lake Como, Tuscany and Venice.

Do you travel?

Yes! I am often on the road and I love to discover beautiful and inspiring places where love can be celebrated. Please drop me a line with your plans and I’ll be happy to give you a custom quote.

What is your gear?

I am a Sony / Zeiss girl since my dad gave me his old 35mm film Minolta – which I still use sometimes when I shoot film – more than ten years ago. I use mainly top quality prime lenses and high performance bodies, but I strongly believe that gear is just a small part of the equation. ; ))

Do you offer albums?

Yes, I do offer exquisite fine art wedding albums from the best vendors.

How do we book?

You can secure your date by signing our contract and making a deposit. The balance is due within 2 weeks prior to event date.

Do you work alone?

I always work with an assistant, included in the base price. Hiring a second professional photographer is highly recommended for events with more than 50 guests, or events that may lasts for many hours, or if you’d love to have more of different perspectives, candids and photojournalistic shots, or again if you’d like to keep formals and more intimate shots at its quickest.

What kind of service do you offer?

I focus on a limited number of selected weddings per year, which I love to follow with the maximum attention, to provide exquisitely refined photography. I am also available for spontaneous portraiture, engagements, elopements and love sessions. My style is a mix between pure photojournalistic and creative, fine art: I aim to create little art pieces portraying you and your memories, that you may cherish in your heart and/or hang on your walls, trying to avoid being too buggy and stressing you out with hours of posing. ; )
I also specialise in contemporary portrait photography, personal branding and studio portraiture for Italian and international clients, in the area of Milan and beyond.

Where may we find your prices?

Feel free to drop me a line telling me about you and your plans: I’ll be back in touch with a detailed price list and some more information on my services. If you have special needs or you’d like a custom quote, tell me all the details and I’ll be more than happy to provide a distinctive custom estimate for you.

How many hours will you stay with us?

I have different packages for different types of events and needs: please don’t hesitate to enquire to know all the details or to estimate a custom quote together.

How many pictures are we going to get? Do you edit all of them?

The number of delivered pictures may vary but usually you get more than expected. I absolutely edit all the files that I’m going to deliver: I think that postproduction is essential to give you the most beautiful and precious refined feeling to the whole work. Photo-retouch has always existed and I strive to use it to get that timeless and worthy feeling that I love in my favorite masters’ works.
